The SOUTH COTABATO – 1 ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. (SOCOTECO-1) is in need of:
LINEMAN II (Sub transmission Crew)
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
-
At least a graduate of any electrical technology course
-
Must be a graduate of linemen’s training course accredited by TESDA or NEA
-
At least two (2) years experience as lineman
-
Must have a working knowledge of electricity and line construction standards
-
With a professional driver’s license with at least LTO restrictions 1, 2 and 3
-
With high integrity
-
Able to operate Boom Trucks and the like.
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
-
Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance program for sub-transmission line equipment and distribution lines
-
Conducts thermal scanning of the sub-transmission lines, sub-station and distribution line equipment
-
Conducts minor repairs, replacement and retirement of sub-transmission line equipment
-
Recommend for the repairs/corrections of the hotspots as result of the thermal scanning at the substation and distribution line equipmentConduct of regular inspection of sub-transmission line and implements correction
-
Conducts minor line clearing of sub-transmission line
-
Coordinates with other crews in the performance of the tasks
-
Observes job safety practices
-
Adopts systematic procedures in speedy restoration of electric service
-
Performs other reasonable and related tasks assigned from time to time
