SOCOTECO-I Attends Committee Meeting to Discuss Proposed City Ordinance Creating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Council. Ms. Amina Lee T. Gumapac, Acting ISD Manager of South Cotabato Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SOCOTECO-I), attended the committee meeting of the Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, led by Councilor Charene Kristelle C. Jumilla, to discuss the proposed city ordinance creating the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Council of the City of Koronadal.

The proposed ordinance aims to establish an ICT council that will serve as the primary body responsible for the promotion, development, and regulation of the ICT industry in the city. The council will be composed of representatives from the local government, private sector, and academic institutions, among others. SOCOTECO-I, being one of the major players in the infrastructure and development pillar of the telecommunications industry in the city, was invited to the committee meeting to share their insights and recommendations regarding the proposed ordinance.
