Life itself is a MANNA we all received from our Creator and the time we are spending here on earth is an opportunity He bestowed upon us. The essence of life may be beyond what we could see, feel, hear, touch and comprehend, but we could always experience the glory of living. The mundane concerns of day-to-day life reminds us that change is indeed constant and that everything is changing and temporary just like this COVID 19 pandemic. This pandemic outbreak is affecting our entire health, livelihood, food system, travel, leisure and gatherings making our entire economy unprecedentedly challenged, therefore brought radical change to our formerly normal lives.
Despite of this challenging times, the Cooperative continues to uphold its Mission and Vision to do well especially for the welfare of the Member Consumer-Owners (MCO’s). The Board of Directors together with the Management continuously work with collaborative efforts for its strategic direction to maintain and improve the overall operation of the Cooperative. We are committed and focused on keeping the electric service incessant so to provide reliable and efficient service because we completely know, now more than ever that electricity is very essential as we face this pandemic. As an electric distribution utility, we understand that our role is vital in our community thus, even as we experienced financial challenges and workforce disruptions we are not hindered to continuously serve. As a Cooperative, we believe that we are strengthened and motivated to do our job well because we clearly see right before us how this pandemic has crippled not only our community and economy but our very own existence as well.
Being the warriors that we are, we continue to keep and carry the light to remind everyone that even in darkness we will keep living our lives not only to survive but because we all have one Almighty God who promised His divine healing, protection and restoration over us. In this yuletide season, let us remind ourselves that Jesus’ birth brought love, joy, peace and hope to mankind. Let not this pandemic put our festive celebration on hold and rather than worrying of the uncertainties, let us trust God’s decision in our lives. Everything in our lives happen for a reason and maybe this pandemic is God’s way of giving us opportunities, an opportunity to be patient and understanding, to be courageous and humble, to be grateful and contented, to be faithful and trustful and an opportunity to value life and our loved ones over materialism. No one but only God can take away all the sufferings that we are facing so keep the trust and faith let us be at peace and hope that soon there will be better days, in His time.
