To give quality, reliable and efficient electric service may be uttered easily but needs great Commitment, Teamwork, Discipline, Concern, Quality Service to be effectively carried out. These are the core values that this Cooperative lives by to battle for the viability of its overall operations and to implement Countryside Electrification. SOCOTECO-I as one of the top Electric Cooperatives (ECs) in the country has played and still plays a great part in promoting Sustainable Rural Electrification for decades. We, the Board of Directors together with the Top Management, continue to display our resilient leadership and adopt innovative strategies in creating and implementing the well – versed Policy Directions to a well diverse activities and programs that manifests the attainment of the Cooperative’s mission-vision.
In every Performance Year, among all other Electric Cooperatives, OUR Cooperative has been motivated in working its best effort to continue to live up our Best Practices and uphold our Vision-Mission for the betterment of our Cooperative. We have intensified the programs and activities in our communities through SOCOTECO-I Foundation, Inc. The Foundation has been a great help in providing livelihood projects, bringing health care services, extending care and sympathy to foster children and bringing smiles to students through adopt- a- school program in far flung areas. The further enhancements in our offices, collection centres and other logistics were done to consider the comfort and security of our Member Consumer Owners (MCOs). The Creation, Modification and Innovation of the Accounting, Technical and Information Systems of the Cooperative has been prioritized to enhance the internal and external transactions which contributes to the overall operation of the Cooperative. SOCOTECO-I as the pioneer EC, was able to secure an ISO 9001-2015: Quality Management System certification. This proves that we continue to innovate in establishing our best practices in Technical Operations, Institutional Services, Financial Standards and building Community Relations. The Cooperative strives to look for ways to make better services we offer to our MCOs and to be one of the top Electric Cooperative (EC) in the country.
Being in service, there would be difficult situations that would test our persistent spirit and challenge our utmost capabilities in providing reliable and efficient service. But we, the Board of Directors, the Top Management and the Member Consumer Owners as the ardent workers, did prove that tough times could be conquered through our unity with unwavering support, cooperation and understanding. The astounding determination and hard work of all the men and women who embody the entirety of this Cooperative brings a life-changing PROGRESS and limitless HOPE that mirrors in the every eyes and smiles of the Member Consumer-Owners in the communities that it serves. This Body hopes that as we continue our endeavour in the succeeding years together, may we continue to have the determination to strive for the improvement of our Cooperative and may we not only continue to share the light but be the devoted Vanguards of Light towards notable progress brought by Sustainable Rural Development.
