Stakeholders joins SOCOTECO-I Power Forum

Sixty three (63) representatives of different organizations from government, private and Higher Voltage customers participated in the 2019 Summer Power Forum facilitated by the South Cotabato I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SOCOTECO-I) at Fred Anns Food House on May 3, 3019.

The forum aims to update stakeholders about the current issues affecting the cooperative, as well as encourage stakeholders’ active participation for the cooperative advocacies.

Divided into two parts, Engr. Michael Marcella, Technical Services Department Manager, Francis Ian Fedoc, CPA, Finance Services Department Manager and Dir. Josie Calonsag, President, Board of Directors shared their expertise on the topics including the national and local power situation, power rates, system loss reduction and other power reliability programs that will ensure sustainability and viability of the cooperative.

The second part of the forum engaged participants by allowing them to throw questions from the presenters and personnels of the cooperative. Topics relevant to power reliability and future programs were among the topics raised during the forum.

Dir. Mario Mondejar, Vice President, Board of Directors, thanked all participants for their unwavering support to the activities and assured everyone that the Management and the Board of Directors never cease in finding ways to better the operations and the customer service of the cooperative.
