Reinforcing SOCOTECO-I Core Value, Concern

It’s an annual practice of the cooperative to start the year with a theme launch that will align goals, solicit participation and reinforce core values which are significant in the achievement of the cooperative’s overall vision.

This year’s theme, CONCERN: Make time for what matters, is primarily focused on three points which are concern for (1) work productivity, (2) safety and (3) the environment. These points are important guides in increasing productivity and achieving customer satisfaction.

To give highlight on reinforcing the core value, a Catholic mass followed by topic-related presentations were shared by Andres Magallanes, PhD and Al Quillop, PhD. Both presented inputs about the value concern and highlighted their Green University Program, an initiative that inspired the coop to institutionalize its own greening activities. Additionally, a ceremonial unveiling of the theme for the core value gathered all employees, executive staff and BOD President Mario A. Mondejar and BOD Secretary Josie C. Calonsag at the MCO Center, Brgy. Morales.

The cooperative never ceases to improve the quality of its services and one important way is by integrating its core values into the everyday fabric of the cooperative’s operation.
