May 22- Fourteen (14) Barangays within the District of Norala are set to convene for the capacity building and empowerment program of SOCOTECO-1’s member-consumer-owners (MCOs) from May-June, 2018. This is in line with one of NEA Administrator Edgardo R. Masongsong’s 7-point agenda geared towards developing an empowerment program for the electric consumers.
Brgy. Kibig, Brgy. Lopez Jaena and Brgy. San Miguel were among the first pilot barangays who responded to the call for the organization and empowerment. More barangays are yet to be reached by the cooperative for a better and stronger SOCOTECO-1.
