SOCOTECO-I holds a ground breaking ceremony of an additional satellite office located in Brgy. Poblacion, Norala, South Cotabato. The event is graced by the Hon. Mayor Clemente B. Fedoc of the Municipality of Norala which was facilitated by the SOCOTECO-I Board of Directors and Management Staff. Present also are members of the Multi Sectoral Electrification Advisory Council (MSEAC) and some identified recipients of the municipality.
The project aims to bring SOCOTECO-I’s services closer to its valued member-consumer-owners (MCOs). Among the services that the office shall cater are bills payment, consumer welfare and care services and the construction shall start early this year.
One unique feature- the drive thru pay scheme- is prospectively being worked out to include in the design to ease long queuing and shorten paying time. Payment, through this scheme is thought of as more efficient as bills are paid at the comfort of vehicles without having to spend extra time to get off of the vehicle, park and queue inside the structure .
Finally, it will be one of the distinct landmarks that will sprout in the booming municipality of Norala. It will also serve as a commemorative structure that will remind the MCOs of the late Board President of SOCOTECO-I, your very own Dir. Henry M. Salmeo, a local of Norala District, who in one way or another has made this project possible.
