City of Koronadal, May 26, 2023 – In a momentous celebration, SOCOTECO-I Foundation, Inc. (S1FI) marked its 6th year anniversary, paying tribute to the organization’s remarkable journey of service and impact. The event, filled with gratitude and inspiration, brought together partners, volunteers, and esteemed guests who have played pivotal roles in the Foundation’s success.
The anniversary event commenced with a heartfelt prayer delivered by Mr. Jose C. Depital, Jr., HR Supervisor of the International Care Ministries, a valued partner NGO. His words resonated with the attendees, setting a tone of reflection and unity as they offered gratitude for the Foundation’s accomplishments and sought blessings for its continued endeavors.
Mr. Francis Ian A. Fedoc, the Acting Executive Director of S1FI, welcomed the audience with a warm address, extending deep felicitations to the Foundation’s partners and volunteers. Recognizing their unwavering support and dedication, Mr. Fedoc emphasized the important role they have played in realizing the Foundation’s mission of uplifting communities. A significant highlight of the event was the presentation of tokens and certificates to all partners and volunteers. The awards served as expressions of appreciation, acknowledging the invaluable contributions and selfless efforts of those who have tirelessly worked alongside S1FI to bring about positive change. The Foundation was honored by the presence of
Ms. Marlene N. Zaragoza, DOLE-SCFO XII Focal Person, who delivered an inspiring message. Ms. Zaragoza represented the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XII and announced a generous commitment of 1 Million worth of funds for S1FI’s initiatives in the coming year. This remarkable contribution reflects DOLE XII’s recognition of S1FI’s effort and dedication to uplifting communities.
Engr. Rafee Edsel B. Epistola, SOCOTECO-I General Manager, and Dir. Hilarion Octaviano, BOD President, also took the opportunity to express their appreciation and recognition for the Foundation’s efforts. They highlighted S1FI’s significant role as the social arm of SOCOTECO-I, contributing to the delivery of the cooperative’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs. Their messages emphasized the importance of collaboration and community engagement in creating lasting positive change.
Engr. Michael N. Marcella, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of S1FI, offered his congratulations to the Foundation for a successful year of service.
