The South Cotabato I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SOCOTECO-1) completes certification to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) on April 6, 2018. This achievement reflects the cooperative’s long-term commitment to quality, sustainability and customer satisfaction. The certification is provided by TÜV Rheinland which is valid from the current year up to 2021.
From the ISO 9001:2008 version, the QMS has undergone a periodic update to better reflect modern business challenges. This version requires from its program more focus on stakeholder expectations including member-consumer-owners (MCOs), suppliers, regulatory bodies and other partner government and private agencies. By obtaining the certification, the cooperative has confirmed its dedication to excellence and quality in all its services and this as well affirms the trust and cooperation from its MCOs.
This success is a validation that the management and the MCOs are working harmoniously for a resilient and better SOCOTECO-1.
