Last 29 November 2017, the successful BAPA Finance Officers’ Training was conducted at Viajera Dine & Café, City of Koronadal. The primary objective of the training is to provide updates and to enhance the skills and knowledge of the officers in the BAPA operation.
During the training, SOCOTECO-I Technical Updates were given by Engr. Michael N. Marcella, TSD Manager and Billing & Collection Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) was also discussed by Grace I. Pascual, ASD-2 CAD Chief.
Also, Best BAPA Practices of some BAPAs were shared by both VC-Finance William Posadas and Ofelia Lavilles of BAPA Sta. Cruz, Sto. Niño and Lamtong, Lutayan respectively. Both agreed that successful BAPA operation relied on the regular conduct of meeting, strict implementation of SOP and transparency of officers.
Moreover, to know the efficiency and capability of every BAPA finance officers, a Workshop on financial statement preparation was conducted. Before the end of the training, there was an open forum to give way to all their inquiries and most of the issues were about clearing and street lights, as well as matters regarding distribution pole.
