The Annual National Schools Maintenance Week, more colorfully known as “Brigada Eskwela,” was supported by SOCOTECO-I in partnership with the Accredited Electricians Association (SAEA). From May 15-20, 2017, Brigada Eskwela Electric Check were conducted in fourteen (14) different schools in the coverage area. The activity aims to help the schools in preparation for the opening of school year 2017-2018.
CSPU Supervisor Mr. Nelson Navares and Power Use Officer Engr. Rene Delfin headed the inspection of the classroom’s wiring installation with the assistance of accredited electricians from different districts. The team also conducted troubleshooting to prevent potential dangers to school properties. They also gave tips and measures to keep the students and teachers safe.
