Employees of SOCOTECO-1 spread love once again at the DSWD-Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) Region 12 at Brgy. Maibo, Tantangan, South Cotabato on February 14, 2017. ‘This is one way of giving back the blessings from the almighty… by sharing with the kids who are most special in the hearts of the coop and are ones who most needed care and love on a very special day’ according to Mr. Francis Ian A. Fedoc on behalf of GM Santiago C. Tudio.
The facility was filled with love as the choir of the coop rendered songs of hope and joy and the management handed over love-inspired gifts including healthcare and other basic items to eighteen (18) resident kids. Dir. Josie C. Calonsag of Tantangan District added, ‘God has a message, and it is to share our blessings’. Further, she inspired the DSWD workers that their role in the lives of the kids is very crucial and left the kids with a prayer that they may be granted with brighter future ahead.
SOCOTECO-1 is one of the regular donors of DSWD RSCC 12. An institutionalized outreach activity of the cooperative that extends help to less privileged kids.
